I'm meeting MARGARET ATWOOD

tomorrow in a lounge with probably something like less than twenty people and she's going to be looking at me and expecting questions and ohmygodhowdoIdothis.

I also probably just gave away my school completely blatantly, but oh well.

I know I haven't been keeping up with the wonderful crusaders lately and I am a horrible, horrible person.
But help me out, guys!

What should I ask her??

Also how do I tell her that I love her completely and utterly without getting a restraining order

  1. I have no suggestions right now because I'm too jealous. Before security detaches you from her, please give her an omg-I-love-you squeeze from me, too. Yay for you!

  2. So jealous!! And I don't know where she is tomorrow, so your location is currently safe (to me at least).

I don't keep up with the Crusades much either. You're not alone.

Also, I would ask her something about writing you don't know. Or something about one of her books that you aren't sure about. Or something of that nature. But I'm usually too star-struck to ask a celebrity anything.

  3. You should check out her Twitter feed and maybe that will give you ideas of things she's interested in that you could ask questions about.

  4. I have no idea what you should ask(unless you want advice from a writer about writing which sounds good but what advice do you need/want?)... it sounds like you are going to have a lot of fun. Very exciting! Cheers!

  5. This is amazing- I hope you get a picture with her! LOL I know- it would be great just to be in the same room with her. I think I would have your problem. You could ask what she would say to aspiring writers, or you could ask her something others usually don't ask- why does/did she write? I am not completely sure what i would ask her, but have a list and I truly hope you share her answers.

  6. That is awesome. Pick out one of your favourite novel or stories. Perhaps one of the lesser known stoires? Ask something about that. Ask her how her writing has changed over the years. Ask her what advice she'd give her younger self. Ask her what writers she admires. Ask her what blogs she follows if any. Compliments from the heart always go down well.

  7. So are you going to post an update on what it was like to meet Ms. Atwood...a legend if I do say so myself?
